EBRD alumni were invited to a virtual panel discussion between Dr Willem H. Buiter (EBRD alumnus '05), Martin Wolf and Beata Javorcik, moderated by Jonathan Charles.
The discussion revolved around “Fiscal policy and the post-COVID social contract“ and took place on 9 July 2020 at 15:00 (London time) via Zoom.
Willem H. Buiter, CBE, is the former Citibank Chief Economist and Member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England. From 2000 until 2005 he was also EBRD Chief Economist.
Martin Wolf is Chief Economics Commentator at the Financial Times.
Beata Javorcik is current EBRD Chief Economist and Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford
