Alumni were cordially invited to join the EBRD African-Caribbean Network for its first event of the year on Thursday 19 May 2016.

 The event started at 17.30  and featured a lively discussion on “Islamism” the title and subject matter of Tarek Osman’s latest book.

The EBRD’s political counsellor for the southern and eastern Mediterranean introduced his book and talked about some of the key themes that he explores in it.

There was also a discussion, moderated by EBRD Deputy Director of Communications Larry Sherwin and then an open floor Q&A session.
