The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development hosted the first day of the annual Money and Finance Research (MoFiR) workshop, taking place on 15-16 June in London. The second day (June 16th) was hosted by the Bank of England.
MoFiR is an international financial research group that was established in Ancona (Italy) in 2007 to study the evolution of the global financial system.
As part of this informal workshop scholars in the fields of banking and finance discussed current issues in banking, financial stability, and financial regulation, focusing on policy reforms for a stable global financial environment.
The keynote speakers were Mariassunta Giannetti (Stockholm School of Economics) on Thursday 15 June and Anil Kashyap (University of Chicago Booth School of Business) on Friday 16 June.
